Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AsterScan (aster-scan.com), a community-operated blockchain explorer for Aster Chain, built and maintained by Kairos Lab.

By accessing or using AsterScan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Nature of the Service

AsterScan is an independent, community-driven blockchain explorer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Aster Chain core team, AsterDEX, or any related entity.

AsterScan displays publicly available on-chain data from Aster Chain (Chain ID: 1996). It does not execute transactions, hold funds, provide custody, or offer financial services of any kind.

2. No Financial or Investment Advice

Nothing on AsterScan constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. On-chain data, analytics, price feeds, metrics, and any feature labeled “Beta” are provided for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and due diligence.

3. Accuracy and Availability

3.1 — Data Accuracy

AsterScan sources data from Aster Chain nodes and third-party APIs. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees that displayed data is complete, accurate, or current. Blockchain reorganizations, node delays, API failures, or indexing errors may cause temporary discrepancies.

3.2 — Service Availability

AsterScan is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

3.3 — Beta Features

Features labeled “Beta” are experimental and may be incomplete, contain errors, or be removed at any time. Use beta features at your own risk.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with AsterScan's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data at a rate that degrades service for other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to AsterScan's systems or backend
• Use AsterScan to facilitate illegal activity
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Kairos Lab or AsterScan

We reserve the right to block or rate-limit any user or IP address that violates these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 — Our Content

The AsterScan interface, design, branding, and original content are the property of Kairos Lab. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute these elements without written permission.

5.2 — Blockchain Data

On-chain data displayed by AsterScan is publicly available and not subject to our intellectual property claims. You are free to access this data independently through any Aster Chain node.

5.3 — Embeddable Widgets

AsterScan provides embeddable widgets for third-party use. By embedding our widgets, you agree not to modify their content or remove attribution. We reserve the right to revoke embed access at any time.

6. Infrastructure Donations

AsterScan accepts voluntary cryptocurrency donations to support infrastructure and operating costs.

• Donations are entirely voluntary and carry no expectation of service, access, priority, or reward
• Donations are non-refundable — once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be reversed
• Donations are publicly verifiable on Aster Chain at the wallet address displayed on the site
• Donating does not create any contractual relationship, membership, or entitlement
• Kairos Lab makes no representations about how donated funds are allocated beyond general infrastructure support

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• AsterScan and Kairos Lab are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service
• This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from data inaccuracies, service interruptions, lost profits, or reliance on any information displayed on AsterScan
• AsterScan is not liable for any losses related to cryptocurrency transactions, investments, or trading decisions made using information from this site

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

AsterScan is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

AsterScan may contain links to third-party websites or reference third-party APIs. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of AsterScan shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of AsterScan after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
