Privacy Adoption Trend · hourly

Trend is building — the pipeline writes one hourly point as it processes blocks. Check back as the history fills in.

Hourly cipher rate, exact — SUM(cipher_count) / SUM(tx_count) over every block the pipeline has processed. The curve fills in and extends backward as the cron backfills history.

How the privacy rate is measured

Aster Chain is the only major perpetual-DEX L1 where order data is encrypted by default. Hyperliquid, BNB Chain, Solana DEXs and EVM perp protocols all expose 100% of trade data publicly: position size, entry price, leverage, counterparty.

The headline rate is the share of transactions that carry an encrypted (cipher) payload. It is counted block by block: a cron reads every block's full transaction list and stores the cipher count, so the rate is SUM(cipher) / SUM(total) over every processed block — exact, no sampling. The rate is bursty hour to hour, which is why the hourly trend matters more than any single instant.

For the wallets that trade transparently, see the No-Privacy Tracker. Their orders are surfaced live in the Whale Tracker and aggregated into the daily recap at Today on Aster.
